2010 Tour page update!

The first Belgian show of 2010 will be at the Lotto Arena in Antwerp on April 23. Ticket sales will start on Wednesday, December 16 at 9 AM (see ticket link below). The week after, on April 28, k’s Choice will play the Bataclan in Paris. More shows and festivals will be announced soon. Please ckeck our tour page for updates.

It has been confirmed now by k’s record company that the new album will be released in the last week of March 2010.
A few weeks later the band will start a first series of indoor concerts which will bring them to different European countries. So, we’re very proud to announce the very first confirmed show of 2010... Vredenburg Leidsche Rijn in Utrecht on April 27 ! Presales will start this Saturday, December 12 at 10.00 AM.

K'S CHOICE SUPPORTS MUSIC FOR LIFE WITH NEW SINGLE
K's Choice will provide the theme song for this years' edition of Music  for Life, the charity project initiated by national Belgian radio station Studio Brussel. This new track "When I Lay Beside You" is also the very first official new release of the band in 8 years and will of course introduce the new album which is expected in 2010.
For the time being, "When I Lay Beside You" will only be available as a digital download from iTunes. The single will start rotation on Studio Brussel on December 4 and will appear on iTunes from December 8 onwards.

As we speak, k’s Choice just finished recording 13 new songs at the Echo Mountain Studios in Asheville, Tennessee. The next step will be the mixing and mastering of the new material which will eventually lead to the actual release of the full album sometime around March or April 2010. The new line-up of the band, as they performed at the Dranouter festival last summer, is composed of Sarah, Gert, Eric and Koen, 4 of the original members of course, completed by Reinout Swinnen on keys and Thomas Vanelslander on guitar.
More news about the new album and especially the very first single (which will see the light of day much sooner) will follow shortly and will be published on this website.
To celebrate the return of the band on the international level, Sony Music also released a new compilation album titled “The Essential k’s Choice”, a double album with all singles and most memorable songs from the past. This new album will be for sale online through this website very soon.
For those interested in the previous work from the band … the entire K’s Choice catalogue is now available to be downloaded at your favourite digital download stores.

It's been six long years since k's Choice played their last concert at the "2 days a week Festival" in Wiesen, Austria. That's when Sarah & Gert decided to take a break from the band to focus on their solo careers. Since then, Sarah has released three successful solo albums and Gert has continued to prove he's an outstanding songsmith with his new band Woodface. Now the respected solo artists are shifting their attention back to k's Choice.
Sarah and Gert have begun to write songs for a new k's Choice album, which should see the light of day early 2010. As the first songs were taking shape, an offer came in to headline the 35th edition of Dranouter, one of Belgium's biggest summer festivals. Brother and sister saw an excellent opportunity to reunite the band and to tighten the musical bond between the band members before going into the studio later this year. The rest is history... k's Choice is back and will be headlining Dranouter on Friday the 7th, August 2009 !!!
